We endeavour to answer all your questions around choosing the right EV charger for you and their functionalities. Our aim is to have it installed with as little fuss as posible.

Here are the most Frequently Asked Questions by our customers.

Question

  • How long does a home EV charger installation take to complete?

Answer

  • Most domestic installations will usually take on average between 2 - 4 hours, this is dependant on the size of your home, where the charger is to be installed and location of the main fuse.

Question

  • What is the difference between Tethered and Untethered chargers?

Answer

  • Tethered - the cable is permanently attached to the charger. Advantages are you don’t have to use the cable from the boot of your car every time you need to charge, just plug in straight from your charger.

  • Untethered - socketed charging units. The charge cable is not attached to the charger. This gives you the flexibility to use a cable at a charging station and untethered charging units often look tidier on your driveway.
